1. 确定先“直接回答问题”，不能迂回
针对考官的提问，你要直接正面回答切忌兜圈子和回避考官问题。接下来，我们要针对回答进行解释，给出原因，给出例子，加以证明自己的观点。
对于那些自己熟悉或是已经准备过的话题很容易想到理由或是证据，但是如果是日常生活中很少接触的事物，则会没有任何头绪了。
那么出现这种情况的原因是大始终从事物本身的特点出发来想原因，来看看下面这些例子：
1)I’mquite into music for it never fails to cheer me up.
2) I lovemy name coz it makes people easily remember me.
3) I enjoyplaying computer games as it’s really fun and it’s a great way to loosen up.
2. 还有其他角度拓展思维
从这个角度出发想原因并没错，但是当这条路走不通的时候，可以从其他角度发散思维：
1)从自己的经历出发：回想一下自己以往好的或者糟糕的经历，比如：
1)I am notsatisfied with public transportation in my city just coz every time I take abus or subway, especially during rush hours, it’s packed like sardines. Italways costs me many time during commuting on and off.
2)Swimmingwould be the last thing (that) I want to do. And as I see it, it’s mainlybecause once I almost drowned in a river when I was little. It was so horrible.
2)从身边人出发：想想身边人对你的影响，比如：
1)I’m keenon classical music thanks to my mom, who often puts on some music by Beethovenor Schubert at home.
2)I find itgreat to ride bicycles thanks to my bestie, Catherine, who is a super fan ofcycling. Actually, she always invites me to some local cycling events andgradually it’s become a necessary part of my life as well.
所以，当你想拓展思路的时候，不妨可以从以下几个方面来来拓展一下：事物本身特点、自己过去经历(开心的/不开心的)、其他人的影响。这样可以帮助我们大大思维的发散程度，但是要提高一下自己的流利度，其实流利度对于你要说的东西有多熟悉，词汇量有多大。
3. 词汇量的熟悉度决定给你的口语流利度
换句话说，流利是非常自信地用英语表达自己。为有效增加自信和提高流利程度，你需要通过大量工作来提高你的词汇量和语法知识，流利度是应该有一定的语法基础的而且要熟练运用词汇和表达的能力。
其实对于雅思口语考，我们有个很大的优势是口语母题是我们知道的，也是说其实我们可以熟悉这些母题，不断地练习，不断地补足自己的词汇和表达，是可以在一定时间内提高我们的流利度的。要做到流利，你需要对自己的词汇量以及将每个单词以合乎语法的顺序组合起来有足够的信心。所以口语母题，一定是你要练习的好样本啦。
雅思口语考试时间往往都是不固定，很有可能会被组织在书面考前一周至书面考后一周的恣意，且雅思口语考的时刻都是不能依照考生的要求 进行预订或更改的，而且面场所和地址有可能不同于考点场所和地址。
1)词汇量扩大——基础
从大的方面来说，先是要扩大自己的词汇量。扩大词汇量是提高雅思口语流利度的步。扩大词汇量也是一个持久战，需要长期坚持。可能刚开始收效甚微，但日积月累的努力，一定能扩大自己的词汇量。一旦词汇量扩大了，相当于盖房子的砖瓦有了，那么再加上语法和其他方面的练习，流利度能有一个质的飞跃。
2)阅读小短文——积累素材
在平时空闲实践可以背一些小短文，这都是你的口语积累素材，不一定要是什么美文或者散文之类的，那些文章文学性较强，在雅思口语考中不一定能用得上。建议去找一些生活方面的小短文，仔细阅读把不懂的单词弄明白之后加以背诵，也能起到很好的辅助作用。
3)词汇表达的熟悉——练习
应尽可能的利用身边的机会说英语，多说，多练习。身边有外人陪你练习的话好了，其实有很多的app,想tandem，这个上面很多外人在这里学中文，当然你是不是可以找不同的人练习呀。千万记住，别怕犯错误被别人笑话，任何人算那些native speaker说自己母语都会有口误，更何况是说外语。所以我们尽管放宽心的去说，犯了错误对方提出来记下来，只要不是发生在考场上，完全没有问题。在公开场合练英语，对克服自己的胆怯心理非常有帮助。因为雅思口语考考查的是我们和考官之间的交流，只有当我们放开了去说，才能表现的很自然，那才是真正意义上的交流。
4. 来，上战场小技巧
1)语速匀速一点
先是使自己的语速尽量正常一点。紧张是难免的，但是别因为紧张而说得太快或者太慢，也不要忽快忽慢。尽量使自己的语速匀速一点，也是像说中文那样自然些。
2)过渡语使用
可以说一两句诸如”you know, well此类的话来缓冲，这里再跟大普及一些：
1)yeah, that is a good question.
2)what I am trying to say is…
3)well ,let me start my topic in this way
这样的语句能够很好掩盖自己忘词的现象，训练有素的考生在说完这样的话之后很有可能记起自己接下来该讲的话。
3)注意眼神和肢体语言
不知道大在看美剧的时候，有没有发现那些歪果仁都是表情帝呢，演员面部表情简直不要太丰富啊，还有是说话的时候，总喜欢“动手动脚”的吧，哈哈哈我是说肢体语言哈。适当的眼神交流和肢体语言能够帮助我们在考场上表现得更自然些。有了眼神交流和肢体语言的配合，我们能够让考官觉得自己不是在背书，而是真正的交流。一旦有了真正的交流，“烤鸭们”会适当的放松，从而使自己口语流利度得到相应的提高
